Every Valentine's weekend, the SPCA celebrates its annual adopt-a-thon event, finding homes for hundreds of lonely animals in Centres across the country.
This year's Valentine's Adopt-a-thon will be held on 11-12 February. Last year's adopt-a-thon was our most successful to date, with over 630 animals falling in love and finding their forever homes!

Tens of thousands of cupcakes were whipped up, decorated to within an inch of their cupcake casings, and devoured with relish on Monday 29th August - all to support local SPCA centres with the important work they do in communities all over the country.
Cupcake Day 2011 raised over $230,000 for SPCA Centres nationwide. Thank you to everyone who supported this fantastic fundraiser; we hope to see you all next year!

The SPCA Annual Paws Appeal was held on 5-11 November. Thank you to everyone who gave a donation to help the SPCA carry out its important work in your community. A huge thank you also to the wonderful volunteers to gave up their time to act as official collectors for their SPCAs - you are very much appreciated!
