Competition Details:
This Adopt-a-thon, we are running a photo competition to find the most loved-up Adopt-a-thon family. Email us a photo of you (or your family) with your new furry family member, and be in to win a $100 gift voucher from Animates!
How to enter:
- Once you've safely arrived home from the Adopt-a-thon with your new family member, make sure he or she has time to settle in and feel safe before you start your photoshoot.
- Rally your family around and take a few high-resolution snaps.
- Choose the best one, and send it in to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , with your name, address and contact details. Please also tell us the name of your new pet and which SPCA your pet was adopted from.
All entries will be showcased on our Facebook page. Keep an eye on www.facebook.com/RoyalNZSPCA, and feel free to share your own happy adoption stories.

Photo Competition Terms & Conditions
- Entries open on Adopt-a-thon Weekend, and will close at 5pm on Sunday 26 February 2012.
- The winning entry will be chosen by Animates, and the winner will be contacted by phone/email. The winner will be announced on our Facebook page on Friday 2 March 2012.
- Only photos of pets that were adopted during the SPCA Valentine's Adopt-a-thon (11-12 February 2012) will be considered. (If you aren't ready to adopt this Valentine's Weekend, but have adopted from the SPCA in the past, please do still share your adoption photos and stories on Facebook as we love to see our animals' happy endings!).
- By entering this competition, you are giving the Royal New Zealand SPCA permission to use your photo. Images may be used for a range of different Royal New Zealand SPCA fundraising information or publicity material, such as posters, leaflets, booklets, flyers, exhibition or display material and may appear on our website, http://rnzspca.org.nz.
- Your information may be shared with your local SPCA.
